I passed the pre trip on my 1st try but studied my tail off too. The backing skills test was my biggest obstacle. That took me a few tries...I have my cdl now though :) next challenge is when I get to learn about load securement for flatbedding next week :)
I can understand the excitement! I am that excited that on Tuesday the 14th I will be taking my CDL test. I am studying like religion, My pretrip!

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
