Where Do The “Charters Of Freedom” Sleep At Night?

Collectively known as the “Charters Of Freedom”, the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, & The Declaration Of Independence are considered America's most sacred foundational documents, and original copies are heavily guarded in The National Archives in Washington, D.C.

Normally kept under bulletproof glass, and constant physical guard, the documents sit on a platform that lowers them into an underground, atomic-bomb proof vault every night, and brings them back out into view when the museum re-opens.

The original vault protecting the documents was built by Mosler Safe Company, who also built the infamous vault in Fort Knox, which allegedly holds untold and ridiculous amounts of gold.

Since replacing the Mosler vault in the early 2000's, the current vault is totally super-secret.
