I currently drive team n the flatbed division for swift..been doin this for three months...its ok...but I don't get home much..I was gonna do it for a yr....to get my experiece....but after talkn to other drivers I learned swift has dedicated routes for walmart out of casa grande arizona right next to tucson my home...I heard they start at .38 a mile and extra pay for each stop...most importantly...home on the weekend. ..does anybody run these routes...can tell me about it...
Dedicated Route:
A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."
