What Is Expected As Of 2017 (or Within The Last 2yrs) From A NEW Hire Working At TMC?

Hello Fellow Professionals,

I will be a NEW CDL from Texas card holder and a USMC Veteran as well. What type of company is TMC give the PROS and CONS Please.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Here's a link to their review If I wanted to run flatbed, I certainly would consider them.

Good Morning, What you consider a pro others might consider a con and vice versa so it's really hard to make a black and white list for you.

For me Pros-pays percentage only doing flatbed home more or less every weekend in my area

Here's a pro for you: they really like to hire veterans. And I've heard from their drivers that they get home every weekend. Honestly, none of their drivers has ever said anything bad about them, and I see a lot of them these days because they haul a lot of loads out of our yard.
