It's nice that they are interested in vets, but stinks (to put it nicely) that they ignored the rest. Sorry, about the experience you had.

So today I went to a Stephens sponsored presentation on their driving school through Lone Star College, Spring, TX. One of the things I asked about besides what to expect in training was what kind of financing they were offering. I was told that if I took the initial training at Lone Star, then went on to orientation in Dallas - that all tuition would be paid if a committment of a year was in place. On the other hand, if I went directly to the Dallas facility for initial CDL training and on - then it would be three years to pay of that tuition. The recruiter was very very interested in the 26 year old former Marine in the room - but basically ignored the other three including me. Oh well - on to the next one. I will not discount their program because it is only 10 miles from my house, but will look at others too.
Merry Christmas y'all...
