So I delivered last night in Streetsboro Ohio and I had a pickup at the same location today at noon. When I went in to pick up my papers last night I told the gal in receiving about my load at noon and asked if I could just leave the trailer? She checked her schedule and said if you want to put it in another dock door she would see if they could load me later tonight or first thing in the morning. I was psyched because there's not much parking close to there especially at that time of night. So I woke up at 5 a.m. to the trailer moving. Taking this load to Minneapolis for a 10 a.m. delivery. I'm halfway through Wisconsin when I ran out of time did my almost 600 miles and now waiting to get nailed by a foot of snow. Been slowed down by my 70-hour clock so getting loaded early is going to let me sit here not driving the snow tomorrow and will get my 34 reset. Get up nice and early Wednesday morning and get to my delivery providing the crappy place I'm delivering has the snow plowed. The place is tight enough let alone throw a foot of snow in the picture. Anyway I've been through this town before nice little Chinese buffet and a great restaurant across the street. Guess I'll catch up on my Hulu. And yes I thanked the girl in Streetsboro for helping me out. Always make it a point to be very polite whether it's a yard jockey a security guard or the people in shipping receiving. Even though it said no overnight parking she helped me out in more ways than one.
