Hello peeps new here but been visiting for weeks trying to research stuff. I want to be OTR trucking and see the country. I'm a huge hermt and gamer with little need for home time. But my issue is i've been down on my luck recently and had my license expire (not suspended just couldnt afford the renweal because homeless) Im back on track but from the jobs i've applied for consider that bad. I'm told the insurance companies see it as a suspension or not sustained DL. So is there companies that will hire with this small hiccup? or Should I maybe try to find a local Job that has a driver side and try to get in through there. I really rather go straight to OTR get away from where I live and stuff.

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Terry, have you had employment for a while? What is that history like? Potential employers will care about that as well.

When exactly did this license hiccup occur? Companies vary on the length of time that has passed since a suspension before hiring
