There are some civilian transportation companies which count 88m experience as well . Nothing wrong with having options .
Thanks y'all, I'm very excited about it. I'll be stationed close to my family and in familiarity. I have to be in the Reserves for 6 years which will give me time to start a family.

I am going to the Army Reserves right after Job Corps. I am going in to become an 88 Mike ( truck driver-motor carrier transport). They won't teach me directly how to drive an 18 wheeler but i will be driving and fixing bigrigs for 6 years. And the best part about this whole thing is I get paid.
