Hi everyone, I am considering a few companies and would really appreciate some feedback. I have almost zero experience but hold a CDL.
My first company of choice was Schneider but it seems like they have all but stopped training drivers without experience. Maybe its due to Covid-19 or some other reason, I honestly don't know and none of their recruiters will not tell me anything but to check online and although I would love to wait around for them, but I probably shouldn't.
My second choice was either Western Express or FFE. My understanding is, that in general, MOST trucking companies are the same when it comes to training, pay, etc. I am really not concerned with pay...just the quality of training. Do any of you fine folks have any experience and/or feelings that deal with these companies? Do you know if they team drive while in training?
Feel free to blast me with any advice that you care to share. Thanks in advance for your time.
