They may ask you to get documentation from the prescribing doctor. It really depends on how long ago you took those medications.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Yeah they will want documentation from your doctor. Mine had to fill out a form saying what was prescribed and for how long I was supposed to take it.. They just need a record in case it does show up on your drug screen.

You are going to want to get all documentation from your doctor for any ailments you have had in the past. Also I would really research your license suspension you may not have a problem with CR however any other company you will run into problems you need to have your DL in good standing for the past year in order to get a CDL from any state. It is not up to the company its the DOL you go to. Do some research Call the Utah DOL or whatever state you are planning to attend school in.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
