Schneider To Hire 75 Drivers To Haul Harley Davidson Freight

Yesterday, Schneider National announced the company is hiring 75 drivers to haul motorcycle freight for Harley Davidson.  Prospective drivers would haul engines and parts from Missouri, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to various locations throughout the U.S.

Schneider is seeking drivers in Kansas City, Missouri, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and York, Pennsylvania.  Schneider is offering a $7,000 sign-on bonus for teams and a $3,500 bonus for solo drivers.

“Our team drivers can expect to average 5,000 to 6,000 miles per week, which can equate to $80,000 per year,” said Rob Reich, Schneider’s vice president. “Those who drive solo will run about 2,800 miles a week and earn up to $66,000 a year. In addition to great pay and benefits, drivers on this Dedicated account will work predictable schedules and enjoy weekly home time.”

Reich adds, “We’re very excited about the financially and personally rewarding jobs we are offering to support Harley-Davidson’s business.”

Yeah, they've been posting jobs for York, PA for a few months now. I can't believe they still have openings available! Seems like a cool gig! That Harley plant is like a half hour away from my house.

Yeah I drive by the Harley plant in York once or twice a week. Sounds like a good account.
