I chose to start my day around 2-3 am when I ran reefer. With the appt times from 5am thru afternoon. I remember unloading around 9pm in Bakersfield a few times. Plus getting loaded as late as 10 pm at Grimway Farms. I would think if you preferred nights reefer runs would be easier when trip planning. My dry van was outbound from NC to California. Furniture w many stops. All day time. Except one. We actually unloaded a mirror and two couchs somewhere around Tahoe at this wacky old ladies home. It was 9:30 pm I think. She was about 5 martinis deep when we arrived. My co/driver aka trainer Tony loved to flirt. I thought I was going to have to leave him there. He actually had to jump out the window if I remember correctly. No flippy flops please drivers.
