I am currently going through the hiring process for Roehl and I was wondering what your thoughts were on the Paid to get your CDL program. I’m not expecting to make a whole lot of money my first year. As long as I make enough for my family to live off of . I’m more interested in getting the best training possible. From what I heard they are very big on safety, which I like. My fear is that I’ll get kicked out of the program if I don’t get something right away. I’m new to this industry and I just want to make sure I make the right decision before I sign my name on the dotted line. I will gladly take all the help I can get. Thank you!
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
DOT:
Department Of Transportation
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
