Hi all. Newb here, been lurking a bit. Be my first post. I’ve been accepted into the CDL program with Millis Transfer at the end of August in Burleson/Alvarado. Very excited and yes very nervous. Big changes coming. About me, retired firefighter since 2016 after 32 years of service. Retired at 52. Been a stay at home dad since then but now it’s time to get back outside the four walls. Any helpful advice, suggestions, or encouragement would be greatly appreciated. But spare me the “don’t get into trucking” one. Trust me, I know it’s not all cupcakes and rainbows as my daughter likes to say.
