For drop/hooks or live loads? I've been to the one in Cedar Falls (Waterloo) IA several times and feel it's not so efficient. It's laid out well but you can't be on the premise more than an hour before your appointment

Rob, I've only done drop and hooks at Targets so I haven't experienced the lives. I do go to the Cedar Falls one which is not my favorite because of that one hour early rule. Most if not all the others I go to can be dropped any time on that date. I usually stay about an hour away, with a 1100 appointment window start time, which means I'm starting my day later than I like, with that one.

Drop And Hook:

Drop and hook means the driver will drop one trailer and hook to another one.

In order to speed up the pickup and delivery process a driver may be instructed to drop their empty trailer and hook to one that is already loaded, or drop their loaded trailer and hook to one that is already empty. That way the driver will not have to wait for a trailer to be loaded or unloaded.

Stevo's place in Roland OK reminded me of another favorite spot, a Reynolds in Hazleton PA. Similar setup, i go in after hours, drop my trailer in a hole, go to their large mailbox, find my paperwork, hook my loaded trailer and you can spend your 10 there. Very rarely I've seen anyone else there, it feels really secluded, and the sky is full of stars.
