Had a couple hiccups with the pickup from the mentor. Nothing major but the original load he had coming my way wasn’t ready and the new load was kinda going the opposite direction, company tried to get a rental but none were available on short notice. No biggie, father in law to the rescue! One easy phone call and he was glad to give me a lift halfway toward my mentor, and the company and mentor were willing to come halfway as well plus reimbursement of fuel on my side. Now I’m on the truck! Got my bed made! Feeling grateful for The company and school that has given me this opportunity, and proud to be rookie trucker!
