Using A Car Hauler To Tow A 5th Wheel Toy Hauler...

I like to ride four wheelers and side by sides in mud parks and a couple guys I've met doing this are truckdrivers. I want to upgrade to a 40+ foot fifth wheel toy hauler in the next year or two and those guys have me interested in a class 8 hdt.

I'm interested in the possibility of loading two cars onto the tractor, installing a 5th wheel hitch at the very rear, and towing a toy hauler. I like the idea of being able to carry both vehicles without having to have the wife driving behind me as it'll save on gas and we can ride together. I also like the idea of being able to haul two fun vehicles, like a couple Wranglers, without one of them being a dually to tow the camper that I'll have to daily drive.

Is this even possible to modify a car hauler to carry two vehicles without the traditional car hauler trailer attached using a combination of ramps? Especially considering the vehicles you're trying to load are smaller offroad type vehicles. I plan to travel for work in the next few years so we'd be full-timing.

I appreciate the insight guys.

It's looking like a Cottrell 5 pack metro strap setup might be the way to go. I assume I can have a fabrication company strengthen the frame in the rear to accept a toy hauler style 5th wheel hitch setup?

I should be able to haul 3 vehicles and the toy hauler on this one rig. The problem now is I don't see any companies that make this setup with a sleeper cab. I'd want the sleeper for the room for the dogs.
