Honestly I didn't mean to offend anyone by the opening of my 1st post on this board ever, I didn't mean it in a mean or snarky type of way, I'm a lighthearted funny fellow.
That's actually really cool and Bill was the only one to pick up on that. I will be the first to admit I am often fooled by this whole "anonymous" atmosphere where you can't see the wry smile of hear the voice inflections that give accurate cues to the actual "spirit" in which things are presented. Welcome, Dudley (are you sure you are not Canadian? You may not be old enough to get that one . . . ) and I hope you get all the answers (and can contribute all the knowledge/experience) you want to . Some of the advice here has noting to do with "trucking" so everyone is "sage" in some manner . . .

Thanks guys,
And no Starcar I spoke to an SC attorney, seems like a money racket in this county as there are only a handful of criminal attorneys. The cool thing about SC is that you don't have to personally appear for a Misdemeanor or less but sign an affidavit for your attorney to appear in your stead but the drawback in that the Minimum that any attorney in that area will take the case is $2,000.00 at the present I don't have even half of that in savings So the good news is I can take care of it from the road.
Well, Dudley...ya just do what ya gotta do...the charge sounds kinda bogus, and revenue based...which wouldn't shock me, with how the justice system has fallen in the bottom of the pond of late....sad deal.....$$$$ runs the courts...

Dudley....I'm glad we are able to help you...now here is one more thing that might get this deal fixed cheaper and faster. Beings that you are in GA, I'm going to assume that you spoke with a GA attorney. If you were to contact a SC attorney, i believe it would be cheaper, as he practices in his own state, and doesn't have to do things from a few states away. Its just a thought. Every state has an attorney registry on the internet. That may help you find an attorney in SC. Try to find one that gives you a free consult...those attorney fees are unreal. This site has untold amounts of information that has been put together by the sites owner, and thru tried and true lived it learned it experience from drivers, both still on the road, and retired. So enjoy cruisin' around and let the information just flow...you will learn more than you think just by reading posts from us old crusty truck drivers...And Welcome to TT...we are glad to have you, and will help all we can.
