I have 4 years driving experience otr. My last job I subbed 4 an owner who did not care about truck maintenance. I managed to pick up many equipment violations. It was either drive his crappy truck or stay home. His truck is now retired, leaving me looking - is there any hope for me?

Are you looking for companies that will hire out of your area? Or are you referring to your violations on your record? You can hit two birds w/ one stone and give Shaffer Trucking a call. They're a nationwide OTR outfit, and I know they hire out of FL. Disclose your info to one of their recruiters and see what they say.

I am going to send out a lot of resume's and see if I can get something local or at least home on weekends. I feel like I put in my time otr -- I would like to see my family more if possible.
