Meaghan...did you ask this question on the general forum ??? If not, I think you will get a wealth of information for the guys.....women in trucking are a little different, the percentage that have a house husband and kids is small....so shoot over to the general forum and ask the guys...they are a good bunch, and will give straight answers...and theres a thread here in the women's forum by a lady who's hubby went trucking...I think her handle ( name) is home fires...I'll try to link it for you...Its a great diary of her day to day, both with the home stuff, and her husband...
Ok..her diary starts 4 months, and 3 weeks ago.....about 5 roll back pages.....loo for Homefire......Brett needs to put a search something thingy on here !!!!

Hi my name is Meaghan and I am a casting director with Doron Ofir Casting / Popular Productions. We are currently casting a new docu-series about long distance relationships and I was wondering...is a relationship with a trucker considered long distance? How often are they (or you) on the road vs at home? How are these relationships maintained? How do you and SO deal with distance? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
