The Raven

Spent the night at ths Pilot exit 196 (?) I 40 in NM. Last night and at 4:30 am I hear a rap rap rapping at my chamber door. I look out the driver window and it is a Moriarity PD officer who is the spitting image of Edgar Allen Poe. Someone was stabbed at the ts and they were looking for an injured person and checking to make sure all the drivers were OK. Surreal experience. But it was nice that the PD spent all that time checking on the drivers. Talked to a different officer this afternoon and he thinks it was a fight between two migrants.. closest thing I've had to danger in a ts since I've been out here.
