Does anyone kno a company sponsored cdl program in new York and how do I go about applying?
None that I am aware of. But, I'm currently going through training at Sage in Rome, ny. They're really great. They can help you find funding. They do things a little different than most of the other Sage schools, but their results speak for themselves! They have one of the highest success rates of all of the Sage schools in the country, and the hold the record for the most consecutive students passing their road test!
Check them out. It's worth a look!

P.S. Where in CNY are you located?

Hi! You might try Swift. Their nearest training center is in Richmond, VA. I live in the Philadelphia area and I will be going to that school on Oct. 20. Driver recruiting phone number is 1-866-870-6746. If you decide that you don't want to work for them, the tuition seems reasonable at about 3900.00 and from what I hear, it's a pretty good school.

Oh and ask for the recruiter Joan Ivie. She's very nice and spent quite a bit of time answering my questions. Normally, I don't plug for anyone but she really spent some time on the phone with me. The time she spent with me took away from her other recruiting prospects so I appreciated it very much.
