Ita been a bit since Ive posted an update.. Since then Ive gotten a brand new 2015 T680. Love the space but it doesn't have the heart my T660 did. I named her Rosie and shea beautiful (yes I name my trucks) Ive had 2 ppl succesfully graduate and move into their own trucks under my training and a 3rd one now thats starting her 3rd week. Things got slow for a bit here at WEL and I got alittle restless and starting thinking about moving on. 2 years with your first company is a long time after all. But I called and expressed myself and now the money has rolling in better than ever and im running the country! So yep cant complain at all. Just goes to show you that if you handle your problems correctly it can all be worked out. Since my student got in on the 5th we have beenfrom WI to CO& UT on a 5 stop LTL , UT to WI, WI to MD, MD to IL, IL to WI, WI to IL toWI to GA to TN to IL to now on our way to TX! YEP WE HAVE PUT ON 8200 MILES since she got in the truck! We are currently at the fuel island in Joplin getting ready to put on these last little 345. What have yall been up to?

LTL:

Less Than Truckload

Refers to carriers that make a lot of smaller pickups and deliveries for multiple customers as opposed to hauling one big load of freight for one customer. This type of hauling is normally done by companies with terminals scattered throughout the country where freight is sorted before being moved on to its destination.

LTL carriers include:

  • FedEx Freight
  • Con-way
  • YRC Freight
  • UPS
  • Old Dominion
  • Estes
  • Yellow-Roadway
  • ABF Freight
  • R+L Carrier

Every time I see a WEL truck, I look for any pink. If I do, I'm going to go see if it you. Sounds like life is going well for you. Hats off to you for becoming a trainer. I sometimes have issues with me in the truck, so I don't think I could handle a total stranger for an extended period. Not even sure about the wife being with me for short periods.

Stay safe and take care!

I drive truck 51077 now. I have my airhorn braided with pink fleece and about 7 pairs of pink sunglasses on the visor. YOU CANT MISS ME! Lol I like being a trainer. Helping people and watching them "get it" makea me realize how far ive come as a driver.. I have moments where I like being alone but I enjoy the company for the few week's. I haven't had any terror trainees besides the one I put out the truck so that helps too. Only issue we have had is they are smokers and I am not and I dont stop much.. I give them all credit though. They do well with the stress of this plus not smoking lol I alwaya tell them im saving them..

Glad to see you enjoying yourself now since you become a trainer RedGator, perhaps if I choose to go with WEL that I could request you for my trainer lol. Hope all is well and see you someday on the road.

I try. They say it takes someone special to be a successful trainer:-) I was sorry we couldnt get hooked up in Denver MG. I spent enough days there. Parking at that Sapp Bros was super fun!

Everytime I read the title of the post and knowing your sassy attitude somehow I always expect the title to be changed to "How yall is?" or How yall be? " kind of a country girl meets inner city girl. I kind of laugh every time I run across it.
