Yes another safety post. Some of you know I am a new runner. I also live in Phoenix. The only reasonably comfortable times to go out are just before sunrise or just before sunset. Last night I was wearing light grey, crossing the street under a light just after sunset. A car coming toward me decided he needed to turn in front of me at the last second, I was in the middle of the road! (IF I was the paranoid sort I'd swear He was aiming for me) Fortunately,he did see me at the last second. All I see is his bumper a foot from my kneecaps! Blam! end of my trucking career in a flash! Needless to say, I promptly went home and ordered some reflective gear. Which I will be wearing when I become a driver!! Dang!!! Be careful people! If I had some money I'd by a crate of reflective gear and hand it out!! That's on my list! Stay alert!
