Sprint is unlimited, i've been with them for years with no issues
I don't see any unlimited plans for Spring for a NEW customer. Maybe you've been grandfathered in on an old plan? Also I will be using a laptop to stream stuff like YouTube and Netflix, so the smartphone data plans don't do me much good. I know I can tether and all that, but I am still pretty sure your speed in an "unlimited" plan is throttled after X amount of GB.
"Voice/Data Usage Limitation: Sprint reserves the right, without notice, to limit throughput speeds, and to deny, terminate, modify, disconnect or suspend service if off-network usage in a month exceeds: (1) voice: 800 min. or a majority of minutes; or (2) data: 300 megabytes or a majority of kilobytes. For 3G/4G Mobile Broadband Plans, monthly off-network allowance varies by plan. 100MB plan allwance: 25MB/Mo.; 300MB or 3GB plan allowance: 100MB/mo.; 6GB and 12GB plan allowance: 300MB/mo."
Yeah I'm talking about smartphone data plans, sprint has unlimited plans for new costumers as far as that goes. I used a lot of data watching hulu and youtube videos as well as normal web surfing with no speed limits or any of that. I'll prob bring my laptop for occasional use when there is free wifi, but with smartphones the way they are and the screen sizes available I don't think i'll mind using it as my main source for internet.

Anyone have any experience with Millenicom.
With unlimited data plans pretty much nonexistent this one seems pretty good. I think they use Sprint's towers. So by no means will it be perfect coverage, but no providers really offer that...
"Usage over 50 gigabytes in one month will alert our investigative team."
50 gigabytes sounds WAY better than the 5gb-10gb plans the major carriers offer.
I love this part in their FAQ:
"Never use your Millenicom mobile broadband service outside the United States. Whenever near an International border (within 20 miles) please turn off “roaming” so that it does not pick up neighboring towers. Failure to do so may generate enormous usage fees. Seriously, the fees are enormous."
Seems like they have a sense of humor and are aware their customers are looking for a good deal.
