Hi Russell,

2 DUIs are gonna cause you some problems - to be blunt with you. With 1, you could wait 5 years and most companies will accept you. My suggestion would be to start contacting companies and put in the legwork yourself - don't go by what a company's website says or what somebody on an internet forum says. Since the last DUI was in '85, perhaps some company would give you a shot? Keep in mind the insurance companies are who you're dealing with behind the scenes. If you want it bad enough, contact each company individually and ask the recruiters over the phone - don't leave a message. A lot of companies will not consider somebody with more than 1 DUI. Hoping the best for you.

You won't know till you start trying.

One more thing. Do not even bother enrolling in a private school, if you were considering paying out of pocket, until you know you are hire-able. Otherwise, you'd be out school costs without a job to show for it.

Just contact as many companies as you can and tell them everything and since they are that old I think you have a good shot at landing a job.... They are almost 30 years old and if you haven't had any suspensions since then you should be good but jut watch out for the companies that say no dui's in a lifetime
