I just wanted to share something to all of you who have sinus issues and the headaches due to weather changes... I have struggled with this for years.. went to doctor after doctor and nothing but coming home with new prescriptions which only work for 2 days or so then stop working.. I tried something by Arm and Hammer called Simply Saline Cold formula.. I have been using this for 3 weeks now and it works like a charm for me.. I sleep so good, unlike in the past waking up feeling unrested. I don't know how many of you have the issues that I have but it is well worth a try. I give it two shots in my nose before I go to sleep and it works great.. Hope this helps any of you who have these same issues as I had.

Judy

DAC:

Drive-A-Check Report

A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).

It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.

Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

Just wanted to share with you an all natural pill called echanacea. It is available at your health food store. It actually maintains healthy yeast levels in your body. I was a chronic allergy/sinus sufferer. No more!

I too deal with a lot if sinus issues and as my wife has told me many times I'm too bull headed to try any kind of nasal spray, but I think its time to give the Arm & Hammer product a try. Thanks!

Good stuffins everyone! I start CDL school in Feb and have been following (okay, creeping) several of you along my research journey. I'm 48 years old and have been a butcher, and business owner, a janitorial supervisor and most recently, a Human Resources Manager for a large commercial cleaning company. Trucking has been in my "blood" since I was about 5. I have step cousins who have made a living doing this since as far back as I can recall. It's finally my turn!!

This is all good reading. I have always sworn by the Neti Pot although I have to get myself pumped for "drowning myself" for the long lasting relief (assuming I stay on a regular regiment with it).

If you haven't tried a Neti Pot, I recommend it wholeheartedly for sinus problem maintenance as well as short term relief.

Thanks for your tips and tricks, even if you don't realize what it means to those of us who are about to embark on the OTR gig!

...Joe
