On a Funny Note, my Cascadia has the short exhaust pipe that dumps down inbetween the Drives, makes one heck of a steam cloud when it's -25 below or colder. Somewhere I heard/read of a story where a Trooper who pulled a Driver over to write him up for drive brakes burning up, Driver pointed to the Shorty exhaust pipe down between the drives, Trooper waved see ya

Thanks for all the answers the reason I asked about regeneration on asphalt was we bought 2010 lonestar and owner manuel said do it on concrete or gravel not asphalt that made me wonder because all we see is blacktop hardly any concrete surfaces

Concrete can take a lot more heat than Asphalt. (Asphalt "A.C." actually is concrete just with tar instead of water) it starts to soften around 300 degrees Fahrenheit. usually required to be at or above 95% of it's max density to be considered safe to travel on on... If you regenerate on it it may soften the asphalt and take away it's density in turn the area will eventually need to be repaired. Concrete will just go pop but at waay higher temperatures. It withstands heat better
