Backwards will move the sliding 5th wheel forward on the tractor. smile.gif

HUH??

If you have a trailer attached and you set the trailer brakes then release the fifth wheel locking mechanism and slide the tractor BACK towards the trailer, the fifth wheel will slide FORWARDS toward the cab, right? That means the trailer will ride closer to the cab ... slide the tractor FORWARDS under the same conditions and the fifth wheel moves BACKWARDS meaning the trailer now ride farther away from the cab ... make sense??
