Good luck bud, its getting close to my time too, Another few days in fact. I'm rootin for ya!
I have about another 1 1/2 months to go in school before my CDL test with the DMV. All is going well, but I'm still nervous about it. Sounds like you're doing great and you'll make it next time!
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.DMV:

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.
I passed the next day. It took a Big weight off my shoulders however I know it's just the beginning of my journey I'm just glad to have CDL in hand at least.

Took my CDL test today smoked the pre trip, straight line backing was good, off set was good, alley dock I got in the box used my 2 free get outs to check my position because I was jacked once and the other to see how far back I had to go. I didn't go back far enough once I straightened up and failed. So I'm taking it again tomorrow and I'm not a happy camper right now.
