Staying regular OTR

Keep drinking that water and take every opportunity you get to pull over and pee. It only takes a few minutes out of your day to pull over and relieve yourself. Try drinking more water and see if that helps. Even if I don’t have to go but know I’m about to go into a long stretch where there’s no place to pee I’ll pull in someplace that’s quick and go. There’s nothing worse than being 30 minutes away from a complicated Shipper or consignee and all you can think about is going to the bathroom. I’ll miss my turn, run a red light, pull out in front of someone. Crazy stuff happens when I got to pee. Hope that helps.

Getting a job after Dollar General..

You should of listened to your instructor but I don’t blame you for wanting to make the big bucks straight out of cdl school. I don’t think you’ve done to much wrong. You should Be able to find another job. Don’t let this DAC report stress you out at all. It’s nothing compared to your MVR and your CSA score. Since you didn’t mention them your probably squeaky clean on that end and that’s A good thing.

Is it just me?

Probably parked there when there was no room to park. Everything is fair game when it comes to parking. If he didn’t have the skill to get it in a spot it’s better he did what he did and made it another day incident free.

Training what’s the hardest part?

I’ll probably never do it but was just wondering what’s the hardest part of being a trainer? The hardest part that I can imagine is trying to keep them from missing a turn. What’s the hardest part you think and is there some links you can point me to. Thanks

Western Non compete contract

5 months experience might seem like a lot but it’s really just a drop in the bucket. Western offering you 240 hours of paid training was in your best interest and theirs to make you a better safer driver. If you had a year experience at your last job I doubt you would be in this situation. Get a lawyer to send them a letter and that might solve your problem. Just the though of going to court over this might motivate them to let you out of this contract. If not hopefully you got the time and money to fight it. Good luck.
