I have heard alot of questions about training and wanted to inform those who are interested. I am currently going to a great cdl training program in Illinois. If your interested try applying at Earl Henderson Trucking. The staff is great, training is exceptionally great given all the information one needs to acquire. One will get $100 bucks every Monday for food and necessities for the week. As well as your room stay will be paid for and Transportation is covered. Complete with a pool, hot tub, and fitness room too. Check it out on facebook, Earl l Henderson Trucking. Start your career off the right way, after all its your life 😁

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Are you in training now? How was CDL school ? I will probably be starting on 10/12

I will definitely look into this. After having an extremely difficult time finding a trucking school that will company sponsor train me after moving to Illinois, I was ended up narrowing it down to Swift. But I'll check this out too just to make sure I'm making the best decision for me. Thanks for the information.

After having an extremely difficult time finding a trucking school that will company sponsor train me after moving to Illinois, I was ended up narrowing it down to Swift. But I'll check this out too just to make sure I'm making the best decision for me. Thanks for the information.

Are you in training now? How was CDL school ? I will probably be starting on 10/12

Cdl training was great. I just got my cdls today. I been here 6 weeks and I honestly think that I made a good choice by coming here. I was going to go to Cr England and thank God I didnt. If u apply add the name Shingleton on your app for the referral and ill split it with you 50/50. My names Jeremy. Its like $2300 .
