Am I the only one that is a little concerned about the amount of questions here lately about drug tests?

Maybe it's just me.

It only disturbs you because you have the crazy idea that if you can't pass a drug test, maybe you have no business driving.

Y'know, crazy. rofl-1.gif

It's you.

Drug questions rank right up there with "Which company is best for me?"

Well it must be me, too. If you are even remotely worried about not being able to pass one, just maybe you shouldn't be driving anything IMO. I get it that people have a past and the hair thing has them worried though. I happen to love those darn sesame stick snacks, lemon poppy seed muffins, and a spinach salad with.. poppy seed dressing, but avoid them honestly, because the risk of errors lol.

I understand the poppy seeds, but do the sesame seeds cause a false positive too?

Yes, for cocaine.

Interesting. I had not heard that about sesame seeds before. I learn something new every day!

I worked in healthcare for almost 20 years and because I worked healthcare travel contracts for the last 6 years or so, I frequently got tested. Basically every 13 weeks when going to a new facility. We were always warned about poppy seeds and large amounts of any toasted seeds, like those yummy toasted sesame stick snacks lol. Also because many drugs are based on plants/herbs use of lots of herbs could cause problems. Would it for everyone? No, not at all, but just something to consider.

Of course they SAY that the levels tested have been changed to eliminate false positives, but with my luck I wouldn't chance it.
