Can A Truck Horn Be Used Without The Truck?

Hi, I was wondering if air horns meant for large trucks and rigs can be used by themselves, without installing into a vehicle. Sort of like the way a handheld can air horn can. I'm not referring to something obnoxiously loud, just about in the 150 decibel range.

150 db is OBNOXIOUSLY loud. Phox put an address for a great chart. 150 is a jet plane taking off.
