So I been running regional Seattle to L.A., as far east as utah solo. Wow maybe I should call this running legit, I have so much respect for my fellow drivers now. This is I believe the Lord's work we are doing. I did so many different types of trucking to get here hauling fruit reefer 48 locals team... but when I see us driving down the highway now , always parking perfectly , I see a bit of my own struggle and my pride swells for all professional drivers. it's like a degree you have to risk your life for...may god bless us all

Regional:

Regional Route

Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.

Reefer:

A refrigerated trailer.

Yeah there are a lot of hard lessons learned in this industry, especially in the beginning. Everyone makes mistakes, but you can't make a big one.

In fact, we have a list of topics tagged "hard lessons learned" for anyone who'd like to know what they might be in for when their turn comes. The more you can learn the easy way (by reading about it) the better off you'll be.

Well said for new drivers you just have to do it ... Preparation, take the time to do it right, and leave your rush at some good lessons Its amazing when you get the right job that fits for me its reefr/dryvan but theres so many options if your in a bad situation its just your turn we all been there stay safe keep a cool head and may god bless us all

Dryvan:

A trailer or truck that that requires no special attention, such as refrigeration, that hauls regular palletted, boxed, or floor-loaded freight. The most common type of trailer in trucking.
