Day 1 in the books. Filled out tons of paperwork. Took my drug test, which I hope isn't diluted, drank a little too much water this morning. Passed my DOT physical and company physical. They went over the rules with us, and took us grocery shopping. Tomorrow I report to the yard for training 😊

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

The last DOT physical I had they just asked if I had a history of hernias. No grabbing...I'm sure this will vary doctor to doctor and there's really know way to tell beforehand. Just hope for the best!

And if it happens just break out in to religious song..

"He touched me, Oh He touched me, And oh the joy that floods my soul! Something happened and now I know, He touched me and made me whole."
