About 3 years ago I stumbled across this site as I was looking to get on into trucking. At that time I was unable to begin because I had some issues I needed to take care of and a lifestyle I wasn't sure I was ready to give up. Well, 10 months ago I cleared up my issues and decided that it was time to change my lifestyle for the better. So I decided to research trucking again and set a date that I would begin my new career. That day was July 13th 2015. My first day behind the wheel was terrifying. So was the second, third, and fourth. Anyway, on October 18th 2015 I can officially call myself a truck driver after completing the A seat upgrade. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for truckingtruth.com this would not have been possible. I was out on the road for three months with a great trainer who taught me how to drive the truck, but coming to this site numerous times a day has helped me learn the truck and the trucking lifestyle. Not being disrespectful to the moderators because they have been really helpful, but I have learned more from the rookie drivers and those looking to be drivers. To me, that is what makes this site so great. The interaction that goes on here makes this site fantastic. Brett, Errol, Old school, Ernie, Red Gator, THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO HELP. I may not participate a lot, but I am a regular visitor and recipient of the wisdom you guys bestow to all who have questions. On a side note, Brett, can you release me from being halted on the High Road test. P.S.

Anyone who complains about the ads, I challenge you to find a better site for us truckers. Any revenue Brett generates from ads is well deserve.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Just reanswer the questions correctly and the halt will clear itself.

Hey, congrats on getting upgraded to A seat! That's awesome!

Indeed, just answer the review questions correctly and the halt will be lifted. It says specifically you're 1 for 4 on one of the questions. That's why you're halted. So do one or two sets of review questions, get them correct, and the halt will be lifted.
