CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

DAC:

Drive-A-Check Report

A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).

It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.

Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

Tom straightens things out:

The name of the site is tucking truth so I am being truthful as much as I can! Don't take my word for any thing google it look it up on YouTube or this site .I am giving you all the bad stuff so your aware that's all.

It wasn't "the bad stuff (bad news)" that you posted. Saying people are "Swift management" is 100% baloney. So is a lot of the other junk you put here. You claim you found the information with Google and YouTube. Without knowing the difference between facts and BS from others, you'll usually end up with negative, unsupported explanations that just plain sound good to you.

You can find "proof" that the moon landings were done on a Hollywood stage. But that's not reality.

Many people make statements and explanations that make them feel like an authority on the subject. You made many statements of "fact" which are really things you heard of saw on YT.

About a year ago I started posting things here on TT. But none of it was stuff I could not prove one way or another. And some trucker posting on YouTube doesn't mean they know what they are taking about.

You are right about Swift's school. I live nearby so I didn't have that problem. But several of my classmates learned to hate Top Ramen after 4 weeks of noodles. Swift tuition including hotel is currently $4400. No food or pay. Just tonight I say a post about a company that pays you, but tuition is $7200. Think you could explain the difference?

He asked because he probably can't go that long without pay or he knows it will be really hard. I give him lots of options.I didn't just shove Swift down his trout . You have over a 1000 post I am sure at lest half of them where you arguing with people! How can you have a argument with a man who thinks he is smarter and has more information then GOOGLE! You won bud I give up you mad this post about you.

Tom is assuming things:

You have over a 1000 post I am sure at lest half of them where you arguing with people!

It looks like you are taking one example (this thread) and thinking all 1000 other posts are in arguments. You could do some simple research: put "Errolv" in the search box.

Also, Brett doesn't make you a Moderator just because you argue.

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
