That's a good question...since you went to a "company" doc..I would ask your recruiter...not sure where else you may be able to find that info...
Tanya, you had applied with CR England right? I think you had said a while back that they were the only company that you had applied with that would take you on due to your home state. What other companies had you applied to?
Charles, I talked with, Swift, Knight, Stevens, Werner, Rohel, and CRST
Yes I was at C.R. England
Yeah I thought it was CR England, but I also thought I remember you saying that you wanted to go with them since you could go to school and wouldn't have to leave home to do it. I didn't see a school for CR England in Michigan so I was confused.
Did a quick search for trucking companies in your area that are looking for new trainees, found this particular one with several ads and seems interesting. Also found a lot of ads for swift looking for new hires out of the Michigan area too, surprised they told you no. Follow this link and check them out, they may have a different view on the meds than CR England.

If your not opposed to going out of state for your training there are a couple other bigger company sponsored schools that weren't on your list that would be worth looking into.
Or you could wait a few months and try again with CR England, but personally when I run into road blocks I just find a different route to what I want. So with the goal being to getting you on the road as soon as possible, I'd do a little more digging into these other companies that you haven't tried.
Working on a new plan already which is why I asked the question. I'll definately check out that link when I get home, still on the bus headed north. Smart phones are great for small stuff but real searching kinda stinks on it lol.
Talked to my doc when I got home and figured out why I was sent home...I still have to sit for a few more months but a failed physical is much better than a failed hair test :)

Don't let it bring you down! Just keep studying! Just hope you can get out of MI before winter hits... Your guys' winters scare me it's just soo cold haha :)
Not giving up just trying to figure out what to do while I'm sitting, a friend of mine offered to take me out for a couple of weeks and show me what it's like out there. After that I'm going to see if I can get a temporary job up at the local truck stop. Just have to finish HazMat and Pre-Trip on the High Road then I'll just take the practice tests until it's time to go back.
Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations

Looks like I may have to sit for three months due to having been put on Norco back in June short term due to an injury and shingles. Company doc here says can't have used it in the last 4 months:( So here's my question I can't find any where in the fmcsr where it gives a time limit, would that be a company stipulation or a dot stipulation?
