Most companies pay extra for a border crossing.
Not sure if the "per mile rate" goes up also (similar to NE or NYC "bonus rates").
Having a passport (book or passport card) - and a F.A.S.T. Card (Canadian Border expedited crossing card - more info here http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/prog/fast-expres/driv-chauff-eng.html ), gets you across a lot easier (regardless of country of citizenship - card goes both ways).

Being able to cross the border from here allows me to get paid more I dont know if it works in reverse but it would make sense that it does

Does it pay more when you have the ability to come and go across the borders? I'm Canadian by birth right, and US permanent resident. I was wondering about that after reading the other thread.
