Are you leasing? I Mena hence the loaner truck?

Nope. Company. So it'll be another lightweight.

So they aren't making you redo the training? That's strange two similar stories and two different outcomes. I didn't get a ticket or anything. Oh well I'm happy I still have a job.

So the saga continues as I scratch my head. Shop foreman here in SLC says the truck needs to go to Freightliner for repair and am waiting for Prime's Road Assist folks to determine if I take it to their facility here or in Springfield MO. Fleet Manager says to let him know what RA decides. Still no word whatsoever as to any action to be taken in terms of going back to a training situation etc.

Fleet Manager:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Sometimes no word is good. But if you are like me I wouldn't have any finger nails left as the unknowing would be eating me up. Been following this and hope things work out for you

My new trainer will be here tomorrow, one more night in the ramada. Hoping he's cool.

I feel sorry for you.

I'm not a fan of driving in winter (from Texas, but I know how to drive better than the entire population of the state). I was in Wisconsin when the winter storm hit a couple weeks back. Then went through Chicago, and over east. Then right back through Chicago, BACK to Wisconsin, and again! Through Chicago to the drop.

Hell of an ice storm when it hit. I was happily doing 60mph though. No rough terrain, no hills, no people, (above all else) no wind. :)

Thanks friend. So far I have no word on when to go to Springfield, but am making a local delivery tomorrow morning here in SLC. And I have run out of fingernails to chew just fyi.

Hi folks... Back in phone territory again in South Bend IN. Still no word anything to be done by Prime as far as action or even getting the truck through Springfield for repair. Got a 2500 mile load as my next assignment so I am guessing I am not high on the priority list. I will have to get through Springfield before the 31st for permits etc so if anything more develops I will pass it along....
