I'm starting with Schneider. How can I know when to trust a recruiter. I was offered .36cpm and a delectated family dollar account as a new driver. He also emailed me everything we talked about and read over it 10 or 20 times and read between the lines. I'm kind of scarred from all the reviews I've read about not trusting recruiters and now I don't know what to believe. My question is can I trust my recruiter now that he emailed me all of my information.

CPM:

Cents Per Mile

Drivers are often paid by the mile and it's given in cents per mile, or cpm.

Schneider is a very reputable company. If the emailed it to you, it is "in writing." I have spoken with many Schneider drivers, and they really like their job. Recruiters are not the evil boogy people everyone makes them out to be. They have a job, and that job is to make sure they get the best people they can to join their company. Straight out lying to potential drivers is not to the company's benefit, the drivers, or their future employment with the company.

EPU:

Electric Auxiliary Power Units

Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices
