This is awesome! An old film on winter driving in a big rig from the Department Of Commerce and the Bureau of Public Roads in the 60's

Safe Driving For Tractor Trailers in Wintertime

Produced by the United States Department of Commerce and the Bureau of Public Roads in the 1960s, "Winter Truck Driving" features an International Harvester big rig with Fruenauf trailer making its way through icy and snow conditions. The film discusses some of the many hazards that a professional truck driver can face in rain, sleet, snow, and icy conditions.

Aside from the winter driving tips, which are useful, that's a terrific archive. A reminder for us as we head down the road in our modern trucks that there have been a lot of improvements made in equipment over the years. Thanks for digging that up Brett.

Yes, Thanks for digging this up and sharing it with us, Brett.

Without dating myself too much, I remember seeing those red 'nationals back then...
