I will be starting with Swift 9-9-2013 wich means I leave 9-8-2013 3 weeks from today I am very excited and can't wait to be out starting my dream job. I can't beleave it is all happening so fast. ( well I took my sweet time studing and getting prepared for my permit and I got it but now I have to retake for swift, IDK why but i have faith I will pass it again with no problems.) like the first time :-D

Well I promised i would keep you all posted and I will coninue to do so along my journey.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
