Its always like that, especially on the weekends.. Rarely able to find a place to park.. But thats because all of the truck stops in the area want to charge for parking.. so every Swiftie will go to the terminal instead.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Freight is slower the beginning of the year...probably causing a glut of empty trailers.

When I'm stuck in that area I stay at the T/A Ontario. I buy a bottle of fuel treatment which serves as the $20 ransom payment. Then I scan the receipt and get reimbursement. It's a small hassle but it keeps me out of the terminal.
