Relocation, Career Change & SAGE In Sandy, UT

My decision to change careers later this year has been "bumped-up" much sooner than I was planning. I received a call from my manager/boss last week that the Navy has pulled my funding due to budget cuts. As a result I am putting my house on the market and moving from San Diego to Utah. The net I make off the sale of this property will help me to buy a place, without worrying about a mortgage and also have some "living funds" for my first year on the road. I intend on attending SAGE in Sandy, UT and going OTR with a company that will let me bring my dog (of course after initial company training).

I'm kind stressed that my timeframe for transition has dramatically decreased, I'm both excited and nervous about all these changes coming to fruition.

Wondering if anyone has recently attended SAGE in Sandy.

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
