I just took a look at them and yes, they do pay well. My school isn't on their approved list lol.. maybe down the road some day if I'm ever looking for a new home, I'll remember to check Crete out.

Thanks 6 String.

"Approved" list is more like a recommended list. They will hire from most schools, as long as it meets the minimum 160hr instruction time, requirement. Every starter company has a list of preferred/recommended schools, but that doesn't mean they will only hire from them, otherwise 80% of the schools out their would not be in business.

West Side Transport now allows DOGS. Up to 2 dogs are allowed but no more than 40 pounds combined pet weight.

Pets must be up to date on veterinary care, your truck WILL be inspected for cleanliness and interior damage monthly. The deposit is $1750, and the first $500 must be paid before bringing fido on board and they will payroll deduct the remaining deposit at $50/week. Should any damage be discovered you may be required to pay any additional amount to cover the repairs and any deposit balance must remain at $1750.

Ouch! That is a stiff deposit. I thought Wolding was a lot at $1,000. That will certainly weed out anyone who is not a serious dog owner!

Yep lol.. But damage can be expensive to repair and West Side is a stickler about keeping your... I mean Mr. Vogt's... trucks clean and in good repair because the trucks are traded in at least every 3 years. We have no trucks more than 3 years old and they are often sold to other companies for that companies fleet or lease programs or to O/Os looking for a good deal. Our trucks are kept in excellent shape to keep the resale value.
