If you want to take more than 4 days off you have to talk to your DM about it and then he has to go to his boss about it for approval. Any more than 4 days and management must sign off on it. Depending entirely on how long youll take off, they'll make you turn in the truck and then give you another one when you come back. Since you have been here for less than a year, I don't believe you qualify for vacation yet. Talk to your DM about it before you make any plans.
In the past my fleet manager had me run a few extra weeks up front, so like 5 weeks to take 5 days for instance.

Just curious. I've been with Prime less than a year, so how does vacation work? I know I don't get vacation pay until after a year but can I take more than 4 days off for a trip?
