What really cracks me up, is that they took the time to get out and discuss the situation, and it never occurred to either one of them, that doing this was a bad idea.

I'll guarantee you, when those DOT officers get done chewing and fining that a$$, they will both be a little wiser.

Then again, maybe they won't be.......

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

No doubt! They actually "thought" about it. If I had a humvee or a good jeep I might have done that but probably not because it is illegal.
