Daniel, you are right about picking your spot...theres a few places you DON"T wanna park in a truck stop...any corner parking spot, you are begging to get the front of your trailer ripped off. Its happened to us, and the other driver didn't stop. I've always wondered why that has to happen when your in the truck stop...anyway..we park in the back 40..its quiet, room for the dog, and less chance on gettin' run over. i'll let the super truckers have the front row....I'm a back row kinda trucker...theres usually more goin' on back there anyway, and I'm a people watcher !!!

Completed orientation with Werner Enterprises today, now just hanging out at the Hotel in Phoenix, AZ waiting for a Trainer/Mentor to become available. Looking forward to getting back on the road to get this training/mentoring section done. Hope you all are having a great Labor day weekend. Mark

Mark, are you still in Pheonix? I just saw a Werner van fuel today at 11:00am at the Flying J here in Pheonix. Wondering if you were inside.

Haha that was 3 hours ago. My clock is gone now. Dropped my trailer at a shipper and now parked at the Pilot. Gotta love how I'm never not on a load!

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
